I was born in the border town of El Paso, Texas, into a hard-working and loving Mexican-American household in the summer of 1997. It is in El Paso, that I developed instincts for bringing crazy ideas to life and a desire to make a difference in the world around me. For a long time, I thought that meant I'd be a professional basketball player. Even though that didn't exactly pan out, to this day, I credit basketball for teaching me discipline and for showing me what it's like to work hard every day for something I love. After graduating from high school in 2015, I moved to Austin to pursue a degree in computer science at the University of Texas. Four years later, I graduated from UT with so much more than an education. Nowadays, I dedicate my time to creating the future of sport at my dream company, Nike.
